In respect to phone scams, there have been recent scams with callers claiming to be from the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Federal Police. Neither of these entities make personal calls regarding supposed tax evasion or warrants out for your arrest. The callers are simply trying to get you to provide personal information in order to commit identity theft. The best thing you can do is to simply hang up.
